Ronald Rozencohn

Biography

Ronald Rozencohn received his BFA in sculpture from the Philadelphia College of Art and an MFA in studio art from Queens College of the City University of New York. Rozencohn has received the Ingram-Merrill Foundation Fellowship Award in Painting, two major fellowship grants, and an individual artist's grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, an Illinois Arts Council individual artist grant, and a Fulbright-Hayes Fellowship Grant. Rozencohn has taught painting and sculpture at a number of institutions here and abroad as well as exhibiting his art in the United States and in Europe. One person exhibition venues include the Tatishcheff Gallery and the former Bykert Gallery in New York City, the former Deson-Saunders Gallery, Lyons-Weir Gallery, Randolph Street Gallery, N.A.M.E. Gallery and Dart Gallery in Chicago, The Lo River Gallery in Beacon New York and the Sylvia Schmidt Gallery in New Orleans, Louisiana.
