Laurel Farrin received a B.F.A. from Ohio University and an M.F.A. from the University of Maryland. In 1997 Farrin has received residency fellowships at Yaddo, The MacDowell Colony, Dora Maar House in Menerbes FR, Roswell AIR, The Millay Colony, Atlantic Center for the Arts, and VCCA.

Farrin’s work has been featured in FatBoy Review, Manchester, UK, 2014 and in New American Painting, Mid Atlantic Edition, 2003.
