Erin Moran is a second-year M.A. student specializing in African art. She received her B.A. in History with a minor in African and African American studies from George Mason University. Over the last four years, she worked in six different museums including the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, the National Museum of African Art, and the Stanley Museum of Art. With her M.A. research, she plans to study the iconography of Nelson Mandela and how he appears in various forms of multimedia.
