Research Interests
Hannah (she/they) is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts and began working with metal as an art medium in High School. She graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art and a concentration in metalsmithing and jewelry design. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, Hannah began working at a fine art foundry in upstate New York as a casting technician, finisher and fabricator; helping well-known artists to realize their work in bronze.
As an artist, Hannah explores the boundaries of metal as an art medium. She enjoys creating intricate sculptural work, often work which encourages interaction between the viewer and the piece.
Hannah is currently enrolled as an MFA candidate and teaching assistant at the University of Iowa.
