Jacob's work explores ideas of idolization, identification and human perceptions of tattoo and body art counterculture. These perceptions are evident throughout history and with the overwhelming influx of technology and social media on modern society the opportunity to idolize, identify, and perceive a like-minded audience has only become more obtainable. In his work he expresses his own idolizations and illustrate the groups that he personally identifies with.
