Jill Holaday is a fifth-year Ph.D. student specializing in modern and contemporary art. She received a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Evansville and an M.A. in Art History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She wrote her M.A. thesis on Francesc Torres, a contemporary Spanish-American artist, and his orchestration of histories in his installations. For her dissertation, Jill is focusing on Zero artists and their objects in a postwar and, subsequently, a postmodern context.
