Taylor Hartley is a first-year MA student in the Art History department. In 2014 she received a BA with Honors in Art History from Kalamazoo College in Michigan. Her main area of research is modern art and architecture. She wrote her undergraduate thesis on Mussolini’s Foro Italico sport complex in Rome after discovering the collision of ancient and modern as a study abroad student there in 2012. She also has a minor in Classical Civilizations, and for the last year she has been working as a curatorial intern cataloguing ancient coins and early modern tokens at the American Numismatic Society in New York.
