Biography

Richard De Puma received a BA at Swarthmore College and holds MA and PhD degrees in classical archaeology from Bryn Mawr College. His teaching specialty is Etruscan art, and he teaches courses in ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian art. De Puma's books include Etruscan Tomb-Groups (1986), Corpus Speculorum Etruscorum, USA, vols. 1 and 2 (1987, 1992), Roman Portraits (1988), and two Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum volumes for the Getty Museum (1996,2000). He recently was named F. Wendell Miller Distinguished Professor by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
