Harold van Beek

Biography
Harold van Beek is pursuing a master's degree in Art History. He is a professional Europe trained goldsmith. His interests lay in the technical aspects of jewelry making throughout the ages, and how these techniques were spread and changed over time.
He earned a master goldsmith/gemologist and jewelry management degree from The Vakschool Schoonhoven in the Netherlands. He also earned an associate degree from Kirkwood college in Cedar Rapids, a master's degree in Art Education from the University of Iowa, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa.
Being a non-native speaker, writing about his field in the arts is his passion. He wishes to be an inspiration to many generations after him.
