Hannah Lang

Biography
Hannah is a second year PhD student specializing in eighteenth-century French painting. Her research interests include early modern family dynamics such as the role of the mother, childhood as a distinct phase of life, and raising domestic animals as an extension of child-rearing.
Hannah received her MA in Art History from the University of Iowa. Her qualifying paper was titled "The Swing: Fragonard, Renoir, and the Rococo Revival." She received her BA in Art History from the University of Mississippi where she graduated with honors and was nominated for The Phi Beta Kappa Society.
