John Dilg
John Dilg was born in Evanston, Illinois. He earned a BFA degree in painting and filmmaking at Rhode Island School of Design. Dilg has had one-person exhibitions in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles; Vienna, AT; Zurich, CH; Seoul, KOR; New Delhi, INDIA; and others. He has been a visiting artist at more than 40 institutions, including The University of Chicago, Yale University, The University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford University. Public Collections include the Arkansas Arts Center; the Figge Museum of Art; the St. Louis Art Museum; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Birmingham Museum of Art; Museu d’Art Contemporani de Vilafames, ES; and others. Reviews include Art in America, Artforum International, The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The Huffington Post and Hyperallergic.
