Laurel Farrin

Laurel Farrin received a B.F.A. from Ohio University and an M.F.A. from the University of Maryland. In 1997 Farrin has received residency fellowships at Yaddo, The MacDowell Colony, Dora Maar House in Menerbes FR, Roswell AIR, The Millay Colony, Atlantic Center for the Arts, and VCCA.
Recent solo exhibitions include The Figge Museum, Green Chalk Contemporary, Monterey, CA, 2014; Lesley Heller Gallery, NYC, 2008; Joyce Goldstein Gallery, Chatham, NY, 2007; Hallwalls, Buffalo, NY, 2006; Sioux City Art Center, 2003. Recent group exhibitions include Columbia Teachers College, NY; 2018, Bemis CCA, Omaha, NE 2017, University of Maryland Art gallery, 2017; CUNY Lehman and Hamilton College, NY, 2014; Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, Carmel, CA, 2013; Illeges Gallery, Columbus GA, 2012. Farrin’s work has been featured in FatBoy Review, Manchester, UK, 2014 and in New American Painting, Mid Atlantic Edition, 2003. Other venues include The Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Des Moines Art Center, The Bronx River Art Center, Fordham University, The Florida Center for Contemporary Art, Spaces, Cleveland, OH, Washington DC Project for the Arts, and Roswell Museum and Art Center.
