Lauren is pursuing an MFA in Graphic Design. She received her BFA in Graphic Design and BA in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Iowa in 2019.

After graduation, Lauren was hired by Purdue University’s College of Agriculture as a graphic designer where she also served as art director of the college’s magazine, Envision. She worked there for two years before returning to the University of Iowa in pursuit of her graduate degree.

Lauren’s work explores themes of mental health, queer identity, and domesticity. Beyond graphic design, Lauren has interests in printmaking, book design, illustration, and motion graphics.
