Facilities

The Sound Design Suite abides by all of the policies set forth through the School of Art, Art History, and Design. From this suite, faculty and currently enrolled SAAHD students are able to access a professional sound design studio equipped with 5.1 surround, 2 large display monitors, amplifier, keyboard, microphones, video and sound editing software (Logic, Audacity, and Audition). Additional media equipment can be arranged.

To book this studio:

• Complete orientation with Sound Design Studio technician, Nicholas Goergen. They are available to meet by appointment.
• Once the orientation is complete, please email Farzane Abolbashari at fatemeh-abolbashari@uiowa.edu to reserve the room.
